Daniel and I started to look into who we wanted to interview and photograph. We also decided what content we are putting into the book.
Breakdown:
6 people to interview & photograph
-we want it to be very natural so we will only take photos when they are comfortable. The first image we will take will be before the interview, the 2nd one will be after the interview.
Book will contain:
-front cover
-page about the book
-at least 6 photographs
-6 other photos (or stylized pages that will reveal something about the person)
-lenticular photo
-peel back page
-transparency page
-purple light/invisible ink
-assemble photo to form the image
-pop up page
-6 interview notes, quotes, stories etc pertaining the 6 subjects
-page about how it was made, who made it etc
-Back cover
We also decided we wanted to go about another way in terms of our schedule milestones. We are going to focus on one person at a time in case we dont get to finish all 6 people. So that means, we will take photos for one person, then design the specific pages for that one person, and once we are done with that, we will move onto the next person. We are planning to get at least 2 ppl done by midterm week.
I set up a date with my friend Juelle to take pictures of her and interview her on the week of March 5th because that’s when she is free. Daniel said he has someone in mind to interview before March 5th. We are hoping to get all this done for spring break to build the pages for both subjects.
